Starting with the basic idea of Radius, Fondmetal Group designers and technicians have created something new and highly original, with all the features required to make a future best-seller. Called the R9, it is a perfect blend of agility and strength. The volumetric ratio between material and voids is perfectly balanced, with an ingeniously “hollowed out” centre, enhancing the low profile of the range, with 10 spokes.
As for all other wheels in the Radius range, at the design stage of the R9, the finite elements calculations and analysis were handled by experts at the Engineering Faculty of Ferrara University and by Fondtech specialists working in the wind tunnel.
An engineering "plus" able to guarantee both solidity and twist rigidity on the road.
The wheel is suitable for a huge range of applications, from middle-range saloon cars to top class vehicles. Two versions are available, with dimensions of 7x17 and 8x18, and a beautiful "shiny silver" trim to enhance the look of luxury for this top-of-the-range product.
